Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Plumridge can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Fun with Bob

Spending time with Bob up in Armstrong was always a pleasure.  At least once a week I would pick him up, we'd stop at J&Js to pick up ice cream bars and then we drove out to the dump to get rid of the garbage. That may not seem like an adventure to most but we made all our trips into adventures anyway.   We had wide ranging conversations about Chinese Art, Bengal Lancers, The Old Days and Life.  He enjoyed going blueberry scouting so we drove hither and yon looking for berries.  When his knees weren't happy to be kneeling while picking berries he would lay down on his side and pick one-handed. He would often tell  stories about his wife then as they used to berry pick together.  He loved to fish and was never, ever ready to go back in to camp.  When he smiled his face crinkled up and his blue eyes would twinkle in the most merry way.   He was a dear, dear man.
