GIMBUTIS, STASYS (STAN) June 2, 1924 - Sept 9, 2013 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father on September 9, 2013 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Stasys was born and raised in Lithuania. He came to Canada in 1948 and worked in the bush camps for several years and then for C.P. Rail until his retirement. He is survived by his son Edward and daughter Lori (Steve Dukarich), sisters Aldona and Valeria in Lithuania, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street.
