Obituary for Terrence Foreman

It is with profound sadness that the Foreman family announces the passing of Terrence Edward Foreman on December 24th, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Terry was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay and was the eldest of 4 children born to Elizabeth (Betty Ives) and Bill Foreman. He grew up in the Prospect Street area and attended Central School, Hillcrest High, PACI, followed by Lakehead College and Michigan Tech. He started his career at CD Howe Engineering Company where he worked for many years. Terry was married to his wife Wendy (Baker) for 44 years and they had 2 children, Jonathan & Leslie. His kids were the love of his life and he looked forward to seeing them whenever they were in town. He loved Lake Superior, where he camped at Green Bay, Silver Harbour, White Birch Beach, and most recently at Flatland Harbour. Terry enjoyed spending time watching football and car races, listening to country music, and puttering with his yellow Corvette. Terry loved animals and was a devoted caretaker to his many pets over the years.
Terry was predeceased by his grandparents, his mother Betty, his father Bill, his sister Debbie, his mother and father in-law Jim & Florence Baker, his brother in-law Lenard Baker, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Terry is survived by his wife Wendy, his kids Jonathan (Amanda) & Leslie (Cory), his sister Wendy Doran (Dennis), his brother Tom (Gudrun), in-laws Russ Baker (Darlene), Donna Hunt, as well as many nieces, nephews, and good friend David Johnson. He will also be dearly missed by his cat Iggy who was his constant companion.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Mike & Lee of ORNGE Air, as well as Dr. Dupuis and the ER staff at TBRHSC for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date. A private celebration of Terry's life will be held for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street.
