The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Terry Koivisto can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Kyle Lansdell
Condolence: Terry carved a beautiful sign for our hobby farm home last summer. We regularly receive compliments about it. I was just admiring it today and was thinking about how to put in a garden around it that would do it justice.

I really enjoyed chatting with Terry over the design and process of carving the sign and seeing it come to life. Every time I went over we ended up chatting for a long time about everything under the sun. He was a genuine guy and an amazing craftsman. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Condolence From: Dennis Siegfried
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I first met him as kids skating on the rink my Dad (Martin Siegfried) made in our back yard on Duke Street that all the neighbourhood kids enjoyed. Later we connected again playing horseshoes with The Lakehead Leaners. My father and Terry had a special bond. I had the joy of travelling with My Dad and Terry to some of the out of town horseshoe tournaments. I will always have fond memories of Terry and a speech he gave at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary that was both comical and heartfelt. My deepest sympathy to his family at this difficult time.

Condolence: So sorry to learn of Terry's passing. Although is has been a long time since we saw each other my memories of him are still fresh as if it was yesterday. Terry was both interesting and funny but most of all he loved his girls, you will miss him a lot. He lives on through you and your children who he adored.
