Obituary for Thomas Lewis Andreychuk

ANDREYCHUK- Mr. Tom Andreychuk, age 91 years, passed away peacefully at the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Monday, March 10, 2014. Tom was born in Pine River, Manitoba on November 5, 1922 and came to Port Arthur with his family at the age of six. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1940 and served for 5 years. During his time stationed in Saint John, New Brunswick he met Lillian Joyce and the two were married on January 15, 1945. Tom enjoyed curling and golfing and he has now gone to join the Birdie Gang on the back nine. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lillian, son Robert (Donna), grandson Nicholas, sisters Rose (Albert) Zahorsky and Edna Andreychuk, sister-in-law Muriel Wilson as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his son Thomas (at birth), daughter Jane (1962), parents John and Patricia, brothers Rudolph and Walter and sisters Ann and Helen. Cremation has taken place and the Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 a..m. in Our Lady of Loretto R.C. Church celebrated by Rev. Francis Pudicherry. Inurnment will take place at a later date in St. Andrew’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
