Obituary for Vincenzo "Vince" Masdea

MASDEA- Mr. Vincenzo Masdea, age 65 years, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2014. Vince was born in Curinga, Catanzaro, Italy on November 16, 1948 to Pietro and Elisabetta Masdea. He immigrated to Canada in 1968. Vince worked mainly in electronics and television repair and enjoyed tinkering with electronics until his passing. He was a bright man who enjoyed reading and debating current events with family and friends. He is survived by his son Christopher, sister Concetta Augruso, brother Antonio (Nella) Masdea, sister-in-law Lina Masdea as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Franco and brother-in-law Ernesto Augruso. Cremation has taken place and the Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Anthony's R.C. Church celebrated by Rev. Lugi Filippini. A private interment service will be held at St. Andrew's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
