Obituary for Walter Wabason

WABASON- Mr. Walter Wabason age 56 years, a resident of Armstrong, Ontario passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital- McKellar Site on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. Walter enjoyed spending time playing cards, throwing dice, biking, and was an accomplished cribbage player. He will be lovingly rememberd by his wife Darlene Messon, children: Raymond (Cecile), Helen (Jim) Messon, Doreen (Walter) Slipperjack, Walter Jr., William and Frank, sisters: Corrine (Peter) Wabason, Rose, Edna (Isadore) Donio, Yvonne (John) Nodin, and Lena (Daniel Sr.) Wabason, and brothers: Isadore, Edward (Lena), and Floyd (Lana). Eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29th, 2003 when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Snows R.C. Church, (Armstrong, ON), at 2:00 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Michael Murray. Visitation will be held Saturday evening until service time in the family home. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home 21 N. Court Street.
