Obituary for William John Klodt

WILLIAM JOHN KLODT APRIL 21, 1938 - DECEMBER 16, 2009 It is with heavy hearts the family of William John Klodt, a resident of Inchiquin Street, Thunder Bay, announce his passing at the age of 71years. Born in Port Arthur, Ontario he had been a lifelong resident of the city. When he was young he sailed on the Great Lakes followed by various construction jobs. He then worked as a diamond driller until his retirement. He enjoyed fellowship at the Moose Hall and could often be found there cooking Sunday breakfast. He also enjoyed bowling, bingo, fishing and going to camp with his brother Robert. Survived by stepchildren: Dorothy (Gordon) Henderson, Jack (Carrie) Stewart, Lynne Stewart (Bob), Janet (Jay) Moore, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, brother Robert (Rachelle) Klodt, nieces Deborah and Anna Marie (Rod) and nephews Daniel and Arthur (Shelly) Predeceased by his wife, Barbara, parents Charles and Jennie Klodt and brothers Arthur, Phillip and George. Funeral services for the late William John Klodt will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the SARGENT & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Lloyd Ivany presiding. Interment at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com
