When we first started dating we would go fishing every weekend as soon as opening weekend arrived. Then we started camping and fishing - once in a tent and then in a trailer the guys had fixed up for hunting. This trailer was small but they had put bunk beds in and you were off the ground which was heaven for me. It almost didn't make one of our trips down a logging road. By the time we got to the fishing spot one side of the trailer had to be held together with bungie cords.
Then after we were married we purchased a small trailer from my brother in law. Our friends called me the Igloo woman because I would hide out in the trailer when the bugs were bad etc. But we both loved it and had a great time when we rented a site at Sandbar Provincial Park one summer. The fishing was incredible.
This was the summer of fishing, elvis and cigars. My husband loved elvis and would sing some of his songs when the fishing was bad - it was suppose to bring us luck. We would also buy the cigars that were wine tipped - that was the only time I would smoke, in the boat and only those cigars.
I miss the fishing, elvis, cigars and the chance to make new memories with you. Love you and miss you so much it hurts! You will always be my only honeybunny.
