Kerrie and I met Edith through her volunteer work when she drove my aunt Mary for her many cancer treatments. Later we met her at mothers' day celebrations at Elaine and Brian's home. Edith was truly a kind and generous woman and will be missed by all who knew her. Our condolences to the family.
As we are in Ottawa we will not be able to attend the funeral today.
