Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward Knudsen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Helen & family,
Ed and I sat at the same table in the staff room during spares a few terms. Loved his easy going nature and tiny grin after a witty comment. He had a presence that made you feel very welcome. We can all learn from that. He also smiled with his eyes, when something was really funny. He lives in our hearts.

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear that Ed had died. I knew him from the University of Manitoba when he was in residence there, at the same time that I was. He was always laughing, always so happy and was such a delight to be around. I haven't seen him since university days as we went our separate ways, but I'm glad to see that he remained the same delightful person all his life. It was great to have known him.

Condolence: Hi Helen ..... I am not able to attend Ed's Service today. I spent 32 years at Hammarskjold with Eddy and though we were in different departments, I always enjoyed the interaction or conversation that I had with him ..... he was a fine guy.

Condolence: Dear Knudsen and Humaniski families,

I am so sorry for your loss... Like many others, I also had the pleasure of having Mr. Knudsen as one of my English teachers at Hammarskjold. I'll never forget his encouragement and it is comforting to know that he taught me in the very same classroom in which I now teach.

My thoughts and prayers are with you,
Rhonda McKay-LeGros
