Condolence From: Lorna and Chris & Kamma Ball
Condolence: So sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, George. Although we had never met him, the name is so familiar to us. Dear Kamma, when our daughter was born in Thunder Bay you contacted us as you and her had the same name! An uncommon one for sure. You came to visit us and gave Kamma a Raggedy Anne doll that she, to this day, cherishes. It is a 'forever' gift in her life. She has grown up and has her own home in Current River. We, Lorna, Chris and Kamma Ball, send our deepest condolences.

Condolence: So many wonderful memories of George from Sibley, running into one another at Remembrance Day Services and just out walking. We were all so young then. Our deep felt condolences to all of you.

Condolence: I am so sad to learn of George's passing. He was my boss at Kakabeka Provincial Park in the summer of 1974.He was such a nice man. He was a real gentleman with a sense of humour and always a twinkle in his eyes. He would take me once in awhile on a lunch break to go and get ice cream at Sutton's in Kakabeka. Whenever I would see him and your mom in later years, he always had time to talk. Your mother and him were so in love. The last time I saw him was at the Regional and we had coffee in the coffee shop. I will remember him with fondness and a smile. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: As a child, with my parents Marge and Curly McLean I remember many wonderful visits to Kakabeka and Sibley Provincial Park and when I joined the Militia I enjoyed many hours with my Dad and George. I continued to see them while in Th. Bay visiting my brothers.
My sincere sympathy to Kay, Lee, Donna and families. George was a gentlemen who lived his life in service to others.
Kind Regards; Beth McLean
