Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joan Gooding can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara (Lone) Penner
Condolence: Dear Gooding Family. Please accept my condolences on the lost of your wife and mother. Your parents and mine (Frank & Isobel Lone) were good friends during my parent's time in TBay. I remember your mother as being very warm and welcoming. She hosted a wedding shower for me many moons ago. The picture that you chose of her is beautiful and is how I remember her. I know that you have many special memories that will keep her forevere in your hearts.

Condolence From: Marilyn Malcolm Wilson
Condolence: Joan was one of my very best friends in high school at Forest Hill and I was a bridesmaid at her wedding. Unfortunately, I lost contact with her when she moved to Port Arthur and we moved to Ancaster. However, I will always remember the many, many fun times we had together during our high school years, at her cottage outside Gravenhurst and our cottage at Honey Harbour. I will never forget Joan. Bill and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you John and all your family.

Condolence From: Anne Henderson Stanfield
Condolence: Very sad news John. I have not seen Joan since Bob and I made a political visit to Thunder Bay in the early eighties.Of course long before then we were close friends in our high school years at Forest Hill. We were a small group of friends who continued to keep in touch while at University. Joan's parents made a point of arranging a gathering of our gang during Christmas holidays. Marriage took all of us in many different directions but the happy memories of those days are still vivid and valued. I lost my husband ten years ago so I have some understanding of what you must be going through now. I know that no words of mine can ease the grief but I wanted you to know that I was thinking of you and Joan and your family and I do send my deepest sympathy.
