The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Sisco can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Debbie Milani & Steve Korman

My beautiful Aunt Mary. Always with a warm smile on her face, positive in her outlook, welcoming and gracious, conveyed through a calm, soothing and loving manner in both her actions and voice. Mary is and will forever be missed but never forgotten. We last saw Mary in 2009 when, despite facing increasingly difficult physical challenges, she made the long trip to Winnipeg to join other family members from Thunder Bay to help celebrate mom and dad’s (Julie and Gene’s) 60th wedding anniversary. We marvelled at how Mary aged ever so graciously. As one of Mary’s many nieces, I (Debbie) vividly recall that in my days of youth in Thunder Bay, I cherished my visits with Mary (and George) at her home, where a phenomenal culinary spread could be always be relied upon to greet all of her guests. Rest in peace.
