The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stefan Simcic can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Diana, Norman, and families,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of your husband/dad/grandfather. We lived just up the street from you on Grenville when we were kids. I have very clear memories of how hard working and kind both Zdenka and Steve were. My parents, Norman and Kathleen, really liked your dad too, and had tremendous respect for how he and Zdenka came over with nothing and worked so hard to build a home and family in Canada, and how fabulous their garden was! Dad really enjoyed hearing your dad's stories of home. We always called your family "The Steves".
