Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Geoffrey Gooding can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Szilagyi Family
Condolence: We are so saddened by Geoffrey’s passing. We met Sheila and Geoffrey in Barbados 10 years ago and our vacation paths have crossed every year since. Geoffrey was such a lovely, gentle, interesting man but he was also genuinely interested. We thought it was very amusing and quite a dichotomy that a Barbadian would enjoy training sled dogs! We will miss watching the Barbados sunsets waiting for the green flash while listening to his stories and anecdotes of the old Barbadian ways. We will miss him cunningly wanting to add some “reinforcement” to the rum punch at the manager’s party. We will miss seeing him during his morning walk with his binoculars, ready to spot the elusive bird. But mostly, we will just deeply … miss him.
All our love to Sheila, Louise, Peter, Sophie, and also Paul, whom we have not met, and our deepest sympathy to the family.
