Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Philip McGrogan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

There when you needed him!

I knew Phil in Thunder Bay during the years 1976 - 1981. We shared a house on Hudson Avenue for awhile. Phil was always a good friend, kind, caring, a perfect companion. He shared anything and everything he owned. One story I'd like to relate to illustrate his selflessness: I was living with a girl on Peter St. - until the landlady found out! I had to find another place and move out in a hurry! I called Phil and explained the situation (on a Saturday night). We started moving early Sunday morning - each round trip took 90 minutes. 18 trips later (24 hours without stopping) and we were done! Then Phil said he had to go get cleaned up - he had to go to work an hour later! No one else before or since would've helped me like that - thank you Phil, I'll never forget your unconditional kindness!
